Every learned another language that has a lot of similarity with your own, but has some really nasty words that sound like the same word but are actually quite different? Here are some of the words that I ran into as a native (Swiss) German speaker, that gave me quite some miss-understandings until I looked them up in a dictionary. eventuell vs eventually DE: eventuell — possibly; perhaps; maybeEN: eventually — in the end; after some time; finally bekommen vs become DE: bekommen — to receive; to getEN: become — to turn into; to transform into Chef vs chef DE: Chef — boss; manager; superiorEN: chef — professional cook Gift vs gift DE: Gift — poison; toxinEN: gift — present; something given voluntarily aktuell vs actual DE: aktuell — current; up-to-dateEN: actual — real; true; existing in fact sensibel vs sensible DE: sensibel — sensitive; emotionalEN: sensible — reasonable; practical; rational sympathisch vs sympathetic DE: sympathisch — likable; pleasant; niceEN: sympathetic — compassionate; understanding notieren vs to note DE: notieren — to write down; to recordEN: to note — to notice; to observe; sometimes also to write down kontrollieren vs to control DE: kontrollieren — to check; to inspect; to verifyEN: […]
Read MoreI started to write my own Manga story:Abylita Kreata! A story and future manga that can be placed in the genre of science fiction, space comedy, adventure and many others. I created a website to share the story with you! Feel free to have a read! 🥳 https://abylitakreata.com/ As of today, I have written about 130 book pages and 15 chapters of the story, while having ideas in store for an estimated 5000 pages. I decided to not use any AI for generating the text of my story, as I observed that the best ideas pop up during the process of putting it into words myself. The farthest I go using AI is to help me find synonyms and check my English, as I am native speaker of the mighty Swiss German language. I am currently working on the character designs and started to create some sketches for the first manga chapter. I also started to create our own Wiki to help the future fans to find the information they are looking for.I am looking forward to create a fun story that gives people a lot of joy!

I am working in IT Quality Assurance for over 15 years, and I have never seen any computer system that is more advanced then what he created. Open Letter to Elon Musk Dear Elon I studied your biography. I was impressed with the sanity of your methods, your attention to duty and your terrific achievement getting Tesla going. My own specialty is solving problems others cannot solve. I’m good at it. This is about multiplying sales of your humanoid robots by making them behave and respond as humans would rather than as an AI would make them behave. Using them would then become easy and familiar and enable them to fit in with a household/factory/farm as easily and as naturally as servants always used to. I am certain that your humanoid robots could be made to sell several billion units and be the biggest-ever industrial success, but only if they are made to behave as humans – who do what they’re told, teach themselves how to do things they don’t know how to do and so on. You do not have […]
Read MoreI am not too much a fan of what we call “artificial intelligence” today, as it is in most cases nothing else than very sophisticated pattern recognition. However, sometimes there are some interesting uses for it.Today I tried to get to learn a little bit of Middle English or Shakespearean English, just because it sounds so archaic and kind of fun. I asked GPT to give me sentences that I can type back to it, while also giving me a translation of each sentence and definitions for each new Shakespearean word we encounter. It worked pretty well.At the end I asked it to make me a full list of all the sentences, translations and definition. Here the output (Behold! Thy I hath not granted the guarantee that the GPT response art correct!). List of Sentences: List of Shakespearean words and their definitions with translations:
